Hi Amy,

Welcome to Energy Currents! If you are new to Energy Currents, I am very grateful you are here.

I am so grateful we are all a part of a loving community of beautiful evolving humans expanding together

in Oneness.

This issue is packed with LOTS of cool inspiring things. Check out "Who I Am" by Gangaji, a

I have been ill and am recovering, it's slow. I am weak, but getting better. Last week I could barely get

out of bed. Therefore I am not fussing over the fomatting in this issue, I've taken out the troublesome

dividers that never stay and i have keep pasting in repeatedly and made my own. If any pictures vanish

before sending, I doubt you'll miss them.

I so rarely get ill that it took me 3 days to figure out what was going on. NOT kidding. I thought I

inhaled a piece of pollen and that was why I was having coughing spasms. Then the phlegm showed

up and I figured it out. Being sick has afforded me lots of time to be with my mind. (HELP!) After all,

when one is ill, survival mode kicks in (we must survive the onslaught of the bacteria and viruses! Man

the guns! Aim the Vitamin C!) I've also had to call on the aid of my family and interact with them much

more than normal. :-O And of course when ill, patience flies out the window and crankiness moves in.

What a laboratory this "being ill" has been. A lot of letting go and releasing, I hope I am growing from

being the lab rat.

Today I was stressing about not being able to pay salaries. Suddenly, out of nowhere, my

boss gave me money that I was not expecting. Then again, quite unusually, a client I

have had for a while offered me a much higher paying job. So that is money coming in

real soon. But the best part of it all was this; I had mentioned I borrowed to move into my

new house. Out of nowhere, the debt was waived. Now is that something or what? I am

on to a very great direction.

WHO I AM (by Gangaji)

I realized without a shadow of doubt that the truth of who I am, the truth of who everyone is, is

the totality of existence. I, you, it, them, existence itself--all of the same substance. The

particular mind-stream that I had been calling "myself" was seen simply to be an object appearing

in life, existing for a brief time, and finally disappearing back into the totality of life itself, just

as a wave in the ocean rises up, exists for a moment, and sinks back in, fundamentally never

separate from the ocean itself.

What made this particular experience so profound and so different from previous experiences was

that it did not refer back to a personal sense of "me." It had nothing to do with me as an individual

separate from consciousness itself. Who I experienced myself to be was not separate from you,

Poonjaji, Buddha, Christ, insect, tree, or any other form of life. It occurred outside the realm of

the personal. I don't mean that it was impersonal, in the sense that it was blank or flat. It was,

and is, alive and vibrating with life. What was missing was the involvement of the personal. Even

though there was and still is a personality associated with this body, and a sense of a "person"

in my experience, it is continually revealed to be nothing in the face of truth. It was as if my mind

had been split open and the possibility of lasting self-doubt totally annihilated.

Realization does not begin or end in such a moment. What is realized in a perfect moment is

what has always been present. It's the great cosmic joke! That which one has been desperately,

furiously, relentlessly searching for has always been present, exactly where one is.

OTTER LOVE or IS IT? Are You Channeling Your

Otters remind us how to play. They remind us to connect with the child (Source) that we are

and to BE Joy!

The otter is a creature of land and water, feminine elements. In both Native American and Celtic

traditions, otter represents joy. She is the child within all humans.

The hallmark of otters is their playfulness. Both the adults and young ones frolic. They toss shells

into the water, then dive after them. Otters slide down banks, head-first on their bellies. They float

on their backs and chat with each other by chirping, and dive in and out of the water.

The video is called "Otters Holding Hands" and was quite a hit on YouTube when it made it's debut

a couple of years ago. You may have seen it. Turns out the otters are not "holding hands" out of

any affection for one another, it is a natural survival instinct so that when they float on the open river,

they don't get separated from their group by the currents.
