Currents! Energy Currents is an experience, it is a living publication

Today our Sun wears a freckle! Today is the rare Transit of Venus across the Sun. Will you see it? (see below to find out!) The Healing Energy Images will allow us to glimpse what is

TODAY IS The Sun Has a Beauty Mark! It's Venus!  photo by Karl Tate
Venus will cross in front of the Sun on June
5th/6th and depending on where you are in the world (see image above
for viewing zones and times) we will be able to see this rare occurrence! As I
understand it we'll be able to see this transit with the naked eye (Venus will
be a very pinpoint tiny dot on the surface of the Sun) and certainly with a bit
of magnification. (see notes on safe viewing glasses below and follow all
instructions). This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and a very rare
occurrence!
This rare and powerful Venus Transit was preceded by 2 powerful other Eclipses. The Annular Solar eclipse (rare) on May 20 and the Full Moon Eclipse on June 4th. This sequence of events is considered by many to be the most powerful astrological event of 2012. . This is so rare because the next time this sequence of events happens is 6872 AD. The Venus Transit is regarded by many as the celestial signal that the "Great Transformation of the Closing of the Cycle" has begun. After June 2012's transit, the next pair of Venus transits occur December 11, 2117, and December 8, 2125 without being bookended by two eclipses. I have found some really cool tools - one
actually shows you what the transit of Venus looked like from your
location from 1639 through the 2100's and will look like today.
Another is a really cool smartphone Transit of Venus app
that allows you to see the transit live on your phone while contributing your
location to the 'modern day recreation' of the 18th century mapping of the solar
system by following the transit of Venus in points around the world. It's

And if clouds or geography keep you from viewing it in
person, you can view
the transit online. No matter how you observe, just be sure to
observe safely -- and enjoy!
Right now it's pretty overcast here with a thick cloud
cover. No Sun in sight. So I may be watching it online myself. I may try going
to the space Observatory (with a full Hubble-type telescope with 5 viewing
scopes) about 7 minutes from here. It's truly a blessing to have such a
professional observatory here! I don't know if it can peer through
clouds.

take precautions when looking directly at the Sun. (Use Eclipse Glasses
or Eclipse Viewers or go to an observatory designed for viewing such an event.
