This New Moon, along with the Sun (also in Libra) will highlight the Airy Libra qualities of balance and diplomacy, as well as seventh house themes of relationships and partnerships. This Libra New Moon period is the perfect time to examining your partnerships, especially as they relate to your overall well being. Do you need to be more tactful in your communications? Are you spending too much time on one relationship to the detriment of another? However, Uranus and Jupiter are still retrograde, (until December 13, 2012 and January 30, 2013, respectively ), so you may find yourself reflecting and re-evaluating your entire approach to your partnerships, both on a personal and professional level.

Because this New Moon is in the sign of LIBRA, it's a powerful time for new beginnings in important one-to-one relationships.  This could include your marriage or a close partnership with another who is significant to you.  Things you may have wanted to happen in your life for a long time can begin easily manifesting through using the boost of this harmonious and diplomatic New Moon!
 
 
  As you may know a New Moon is when we set our intentions powerfully and write an Abundance check.

The most potent time to write your Abundance Check is the first 8 hours AFTER the exact time of the New Moon; within the first 48 hours will still work.  For our best success, it's best to avoid writing your check during those hours when the Moon is Void of Course.

 This New Moon is a bit tricky because at the time of the New Moon, the moon is void of course at 8:02am EDT for 12 hours.   So f or this new moon OCTOBER 15, most powerful times  for writing checks and declaring our intentions are:
 
* Monday Oct 15, 8:06 pm NY time all day Tuesday through Tuesday Oct 16  10:23pm NY time
* Wednesday Oct 17 starting after 8:26 pm NY time through the whole day on Oct 18.
 Convert the times and then write your check during these times for best results.

Writing an Abundance check on the New Moon is a time honored tradition to bring on the Abundance and the Good Fortune!

How to write your Abundance Check:    

  ►Within 24-48 hours of the New Moon (see best times above), take a check out. Where it says Pay to," write your name.   
  ►In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount write "Paid in full."
  ►On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a dollar amount, write "Paid in full." [I find it works better if you don't add the squiggly line.]
  ►Sign the check: "The Law of Abundance"
  • Do not put a date on the check.
  • Do not write a specific dollar amount in the check.
  • It's perfectly ok to draw a check on a piece of paper if you don't have one.  It works the same!
  • I have provided two special checks that can be used if you do not have one (links above)
   ► Put it in a safe place and forget about it.  Just hide it away and let it be. Then relax and welcome in the abundance!
