Well here we are at the first New Moon of the new year! Friday, January 11 is the first New Moon of 2013.
The New Moon is officially at 2:43pm EST / 11:43am PST / 19:43 GMT/UT.
This is a New Moon in Capricorn! A chance to
ground the new year! Capricorn takes life seriously. There is work to be done!
Empires to build! This is the perfect New Moon for planning and starting out
the New Year on the right foot. If there is a structure to build now it is time
to get to the drawing board and create your plans for the future. Capricorn is
an expert builder on the Earth plane. Capricorn is about clarity, focus and
handling of real world issues. Capricorn is also an excellent time to get clear and release whatever is in your way or stopping you. The most potent time to write your Abundance Check is the first 8 hours AFTER the exact time of the New Moon; within the first 48 hours will still work. For our best success, however it's best to avoid writing your check during those hours when the Moon is Void of Course. This is a tricky New Moon, because the moon goes Void of Course 1 minute after the Moon is New at 2:43pm EST and stays void until 4:01am EST Saturday January 12. Since it is best to avoid writing our Abundance Check when the Moon is Void of Course, for this new moon the most powerful times for writing Abundance Checks and declaring our intentions are the 24 hours below: * Saturday 4:01am EST (NY time) through Sunday 13 January at 3:37am EST
If you miss this 24 period, you can write your check again after 5:49am EST on Monday 14 January . Although at this time you are beyond the 48 hour window. Convert the times above to your timezone and and then write your check during the above
times for best results.

How to write your Abundance
Check: ►Within 24-48 hours of the New Moon (see best times above), take a
check out. Where it says Pay to," write your name.
►In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a
dollar amount write "Paid in full."
►On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a
dollar amount, write "Paid in full." [I find it works better if you don't add
the squiggly line.]
►Sign the check: "The Law of
Abundance"
► Put it in a safe place and forget about it. Just hide it away
and let it be. Then relax and welcome in the
