One Billion Rising to  Break the Chain! http://www.onebillionrising.org/page/-/img/header-tagline.png

I had to share this.. this is Love in Action on a day that focuses on LoveThis is powerful Love making a difference.  I know  you will agree.  Although this seems to be geared more toward the women; men I know it will mean something to you too to see all these women coming together in their power to break the chain of abuse.  No one is blind to the violence and abuse that women have endured for thousands of years and still too many in our world endure today.

I did not know about this or I would  have shared it in my earlier email...Today on  "V-day" billions of women around the globe are rising.  Mothers, sisters, teachers, women rising to remind each other of our beauty. Our power. Our value.  Doing what we do so well when we come together.  Rising as one to Break the Chain of violence against women

And you can rise too!  Your heart and your movement and your voice are needed!

Y
ou don't have to go to where a Rise is taking place, but if you can and want to...go!  Learn the steps and join the dance.

P.S... All women throughout the history of women on the planet have had abuse and violence perpetuated against them.  It was only the last century that women won the right to BE considered PEOPLE and not property.   It's TIME to RISE UP and say NO more this V-day!
