The New Moon in Capricorn arrives on 1 January 2014 at 11:14am GMT | 6:14am EST U.S. | 3:14am PST U.S. declaring a BIG HAPPY NEW YEAR! What a treat to start off this powerful year of 2014 with a powerful New Moon! And it gets better... January 2014 is the ONLY month in all of 2014 to have TWO New Moons! We are doubly blessed this month giving us a very auspicious start to this powerful year. We start the month of January and the year 2014 with the Capricorn New Moon, and yes,
it is a SUPER Moon! This creates a powerful opportunity to set
our intentions not only for the month, but for the entire year. The
New Moon in Capricorn at 11 degrees suggests having a fresh fertile soil within
the subconscious so the new 'symbolic seeds' are planted for the year ahead.
(YUM!) And Pluto joins the New Moon in the sky. Pluto energizes evolution. Pluto opens us to Divine Will, to Cosmic Law. Pluto blows away any obstacles to that larger vision, forcing us to give up control over our lives and believing in the Divine plan for each of us. Pluto teaches us that the only way to become powerful is to become a channel of power, someone filled with power. The power of life. Transformation of stuck energy so things realign and move is part of the astrological configuration for this New Moon. Pluto opens us to Divine Will, to Cosmic Law. As we let go of our ego's petty will (which patriarchy encourages), we learn to say, Not my will but Thine. Pluto blows away any obstacles to that larger vision, forcing us to give up control over our lives and believing in the Divine plan for each of us.
