Happy Taurus New Moon-Solar Eclipse!  I know that the picture doesn't look much like a New Moon - but look again... it is the Moon blocking out the Sun to create an Annular Solar Eclipse!  This month is a New Moon-Solar Eclipse and it brings EXTRA Abundance energy!

The New Moon in Taurus is overnight, April 29  at :
  2:14am (EDT) |  1:14am (CDT)  | 12:14am (MDT) |   11:14PM (PDT) 4/28 | 6:14am (GMT)

The gorgeous Solar Eclipse is literally for the birds this time around!  The event has been dubbed the "Penguin" Annular Solar Eclipse since it's "one of the few annular eclipses that will most likely only be seen by penguins".  I really hope they all have their Eclipse glasses on!

For those folks not in the path of the partial eclipse (that is nearly all of us), the Slooh Space Camera will broadcast the cosmic event as it happens over Australia. The webcast will begin Tuesday, April 29, at 2 a.m. EDT (NY time)


This is a New Moon on Steroids!  The Taurus solar eclipse invites you to marry heaven and earth this week.

A New Moon is traditionally an opportunity for us to set our intentions for the next month and for going within.

This New Moon is when we 'sow' that which we want to reap during a 'month-long' harvest, in this case, once again  'year-long' harvest.   We plant.  We use our intentions as our seeds.
 
A New Moon is when we set our intentions powerfully by writing an Abundance check!  Writing an Abundance check on the New Moon is a time honored tradition to bring on Abundance and Good Fortune!    **Our checks are made of paper which is made from wood - making our check writing extra powerful  throughout this Year of the Wood Horse!**

Usually the most potent time to write an Abundance Check is the first 8 hours AFTER the exact time of the New Moon - BUT NOT this month! (see below)  Writing within the first 48 hours still works well.   You can still write your check within 72 hours of the New Moon, it will work, but it is weaker. 
 
We do not want to write our Abundance Check when the Moon is Void of Course - it really makes a huge difference - it is important to know when the Moon goes Void of Course around the New Moon time.  

This Powerful Taurus New Moon is providing us with plenty of opportunities to write Abundance Checks -- BUT not in the immediate hours after the New Moon.  This month we must wait until the Moon enters the next sign to write our checks which is 8+ hours AFTER the time of the New Moon this month.   Set a reminder, you DO want to write  your check as close to the New Moon as possible.

    Apr 30, 2014 11:53 am Moon Begins VoC ---> STOP!   DO NOT write checks

    Apr 30, 2014 4:55 pm Moon Enters ---> Gemini  ----> OK TO WRITE CHECKS through May 1, 7:32pm


      For  your local best times to write please convert  to your timezone ( EDT = NY = GMT -4 )
    • Write your check AS CLOSE TO April 28 10:23 am NY time (once Moon is no longer Void of Course) for most power.  As you write THIS check, focus on your intentions. You may write them in the "memo" section of the check or the back of the check.  Remember to add the intention to OPEN to and RECEIVE  all your abundance this month.  And yes, it makes a HUGE difference that you write your check when the moon is not Void of Course!

    ** INSTRUCTIONS  HOW TO write your Abundance Check** (Follow exactly)
      
      º Within 24-48 hours of the New Moon (see best times above), take a check out.
          Where it says Pay to," write your name.   
      º In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount write "Paid in full."
      º On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a dollar amount, write "Paid in full." [I find it works better if you don't add the squiggly line.]
      º Sign the check: "The Law of Abundance"
    • Do not put a date on the check.
    • Do not write a specific dollar amount in the check.
    • It's perfectly ok to draw a check on a piece of paper if you don't have one.  It works the same!
    • I have provided two special checks that can be used if you do not have one (links are above)
       –º Put it in a safe place and forget about it.  Just hide it away and let it be. Then relax and welcome in the abundance!

    It is ok to write your intentions on the back of the check or in the memo section, but not elsewhere on the check.
