Early Monday April 18, 2015  we have a beautiful and powerful New Moon in Taurus at:

This Abundance Alert is infused with the very special powerful energy of the New Moon on May 18th, breathe it in!

This is an earthy New Moon asking  us to ground and restore ourselves and our connection with Mother Earth and her abundant treasures and pleasures.  The earth sign of Taurus wants security and it's ruling planet, Venus, is in Cancer at the time of the New Moon, Cancer is interested in emotional security.  So this New Moon activates our desire for both.

The Taurus new moon on Sunday, May 17th at 12:13 am EDT will be opposing the halting, heavy energy of Saturn. Saturn shines the light on what is in front of us and shows us what we need to master before we move on to the next phase of life. This  New Moon is an invitation to slow down and be present.  Mercury, the planet governing communication goes retrograde the day of the New Moon; a Mercury retrograde is always a time to slow down, deepening the invitation to be present and not act in haste.

A New Moon is traditionally an opportunity for us to set our intentions for the coming month and for going within.  This New Moon is powerful Moon for reflecting, coming into resonance with that which is all around you.  Connecting through your senses and intuitive knowing with the abundance that nourishes you. 

This New Moon gives us the opportunity for some powerful intending! Focus and intend powerfully and once you've written down your intentions and written out your check..  THEN LET THEM GO.  Don't keep focusing on them, don't dwell on how they will come to be.  Don't wonder when they will come into your life.  Just know that they will. 

During a New Moon we plant what we wish to 'harvest';  we use our intentions as our seeds. Today we plant the seeds for the next month and for this newly opened Eclipse Portal.  So take your time, get clear, be bold with your intentions and plant your seeds with strong intentions for this phase of your life!
 
We set our  intentions powerfully by writing an Abundance check at the New Moon.   Writing an Abundance check on the New Moon is a time honored tradition to bring Abundance and Good Fortune to the writer!    **Our checks are made of paper which is made from wood - making our check writing extra powerful as we are in the Year of the Wood Sheep!**  

THIS month's Abundance Check is a very powerful one, be sure to pay attention to the optimal times to write your check and do not write when the Moon is Void of Course.
 
The most potent time to write an Abundance Check is the first 8 hours AFTER the exact time of the New Moon as long as the Moon is NOT Void of Course.    Writing within the first 48 hours still works well.   You can still write your check within 72 hours (3 days) of the New Moon, it will work, but it is significantly weaker. 
 
We do not want to write our Abundance Check when the Moon is Void of Course - it really makes a huge difference - it is important to know when the Moon goes Void of Course around the New Moon time.   (See best times to write your check below)
 
This  powerful Taurus New Moon is providing us with plenty of opportunities to write Abundance Checks, BUT NOT during the immediate hours after the New Moon.  This Moon goes Void of Course at exactly the time it becomes New, 12:13am EDT/ 4:13am GMT.  While, the very best time to write our checks is usually within 8 hours AFTER the time of the New Moon in your timezone - with this New Moon, we have wait 5 hours after the New Moon to have an ideal time to write our checks. (see below).   

Set a reminder to write  your check as close to the time of the New Moon as soon as it has gone direct.  With 33 hours after the Moon goes back direct that are good for writing, there is no excuse to not write your check within the first 24-36 hours.  Check all the Void of Course times below  before writing.
 
The most powerful times for writing our Abundance Checks and declaring our intentions for this Taurus New Moon are below in U.S. EDT (NY) time  (You MUST convert to your local time with the converter).  U.S. Eastern time is GMT-4, we are on Daylight time.

    Best : Write your check AS CLOSE TO the time of the New Moon on the 18th for most power.   Include BIG intentions -  your dreams for this month.  Ground yourself in the moment and in the abundance of Nature, allow yourself to feel filled up and then set your intentions and write your check during one of the optimal check writing times. 

    Write your intentions in powerful language, write or feel them from the perspective of already having achieved them.  A done deal!  You may list them in the "memo" section of the check or the back of the check or on a separate piece of paper.  Remember to add the intention to OPEN to, ALLOW and RECEIVE  your abundance in 2015!

** EASY  INSTRUCTIONS  HOW TO write your Abundance Check** (Follow exactly for best results)

* Within 24-48 hours of the New Moon (see best times above), take a check out.
      Where it says "Pay to", write your name.   
 *  In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount,  write words "Paid in full."
 *  On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a dollar amount, write words "Paid in full." [I find it works better if you do not add a line after the "Paid in Full".]
 *  Sign the check: "The Law of Abundance"
  • Do not put a date on the check.
  • Do not write a specific dollar amount in the check.
  • It's perfectly ok to draw a check on a piece of paper if you don't have a printer.  It works the same!
  • I have provided two special checks that can be used  (links are above)
  * Put it in a safe place and forget about it.  Just hide it away and let it be. Then relax and enjoy welcoming in the abundance!

It is ok to write your intentions on the back of the check or in the memo section, but not elsewhere on the check.
