Humans with Robot Heads? 😱 They're onthe way! 😮See Inside!

Hi ,

This is a different kind of email.  A "what are humans up to now" type of email.  😮 

I had to share this new head mask with you.  I'm a bit horrified and mystified why anyone would want to put this on and walk around among other humans looking like half human half robot.

While we have AI and robots popping up everywhere looking and behaving more human-like, we have not had humans trying look like robots... yet anyway.

Why would  humans want to look like robots?  (Jealous of the bots perhaps?)

People don't like having half their face obscured by cloth but at least we can see each other's eyes and some facial expression.  We can tell it's a human face in front of us. 

Well with "robot helmet face" you see nothing except what looks like a robot head on a human body. "It's your modern day armor" they say.

Obviously some think THIS is the future on Earth.  Be brave?  I'd agree.. it would take a mountain of courage to go out in public looking like this.   Be yourself?  Not unless you are a robot!

So in the future we will be making robots look more human-like and humans more robot-like?





I think they mean the ONLY HEAD for a robotic future!


The campaign advertises:  "You know that feeling when you put sunglasses on? When no one can see where you’re looking?    Where regular masks only cover part of what matters, Blanc not only protects your health — It protects your identity!"

So now we need to hide from each other going anonymous?   How emboldened to commit crime will a robot head be?   Something that totally obscures identity could be very dangerous.

We already have a world where people are too cut off from one another and that is leading to misunderstandings and worse among people.  People hide behind anonymity of the internet saying things they would never say to another person if there identity were known.   Now we are going to have an army of  anonymous Robot heads walking around off line?  What dangerous and criminal things will they feel emboldened to do others since they are hidden behind their robot face?

EXACTLY MY POINT!!   Who IS behind this horrible thing?  The villain?  Or the hero?  It's the perfect cover for villains!



 
They say:
"You won't find anything like this in the world. Its full-face form covers your whole face and allows you to regain control of your visual identity, emotions, and expressions anywhere you have it on."

Meaning.. you do not have to share your emotions, your facial expressions, who you are or what you  look like with anyone.   You hide behind robot face.  No relating to others. 

Humanity has many of the problems it has because there is not not enough relating to others.

Humans are a socially interactive species.  The internet cuts off and isolates  people too much already.  Now people want to cut themselves off and hide their identity in real life (versus digital life)?  How can this be good.    I see hiding inside a robot head being a license for real world abuse and crime in the same way that people abuse and commit crime online because they are anonymous. 

Why not cut in front of others in line or push someone out of the way in a store, no one knows who you are.

It gives me the creeps to imagine an army of these things walking around!  

I'd love to hear what you think.. would  you wear a robot head? 

Do you think it's a good idea?

What happens if you have to sneeze?  Or you have an itch?


I will not be getting a robot head.

P.S. The BLANC (like blank face, no emotion, no one there)  is a campaign on Kickstarter AND the campaign video is narrated by a creepy robot voice!     I received an email about it.  The pictures are from their campaign.  It totally creeps me out. Unfortunately over 19000 people have ordered one.    I hope I never run into one of them anywhere!
