These feelings are VERY NORMAL as you awaken and become more Self (capital S) aware. The reality you feel you are "losing touch with" is your accepted CONCEPT OF REALITY that you structured based upon your prior learned definition of what reality is and what/who you are. When you awaken, all that is blown apart so you move though a period in which you have blown apart your old "world view" and haven't yet fully grounded yourself in your new "world view". So you are ungrounded. And when you compare yourself to others living the "old world view" you don't align with them anymore. You are "different". Your mind in it's rush to label grabs the "label" crazy.
Yes you are losing touch with "reality" .. the old interpretation of reality that you had held. But when you realize that reality is FLUID and NOT FIXED you realize that there is nothing to lose touch with because you are creating it NEWLY each moment!  How to feel better?
Practice grounding. Use the Earth Mats. Sit on them when you sit, when you drive. Cut off a small rectangle (9 inches x 7 inches) and wear it inside your clothes over your lower chakras (lower back). Your lower chakras are your grounding chakras.  Go sit out in nature more.  And don't judge yourself... be patient with yourself.
