🌚 ♏ The Scorpio New Moon is new at 6:32am EST (3:32am PST/11:32am GMT) November 18th and is the first New Moon after the opening of the powerful 11/11 Portal!  The energy of the 11/11 Portal make this very intense Scorpio New Moon extra powerful!  This Moon is made even more powerful by the Sun and Moon both in the sign of Scorpio.

This New Moon stimulates new beginnings in the fixed water sign of Scorpio. It’s a time when we can focus on some of the constructive traits of the sign of the Scorpion–passionate, resourceful, focused, probing, deep, and perceptive–and consider how to positively incorporate these qualities into our lives. Scorpio New Moons are generally good for working on our self-mastery skills.

The New Moon is followed closely by a Mars/Pluto alignment creating quite an energy mash-up. This energy creates a passionate electric charge which could bring fury and flares of tempers. (It's a good time to avoid people with a mean streak.   This is a very powerful Moon for manifesting because the the energies are so intense, wishes will be  more intense and manifestations more dramatic.

Scorpio rules over the spiritual energies of death and rebirth.  Death in any form carries varying degrees of pain to humans, however we are always reborn just like the day that dies with the night and is reborn with the sunrise. Each death and rebirth has a purpose and  brings a new opportunity.  As an end to a job has the door open on a more ideal job for you.  During this New Moon pay attention to what needs to be released from your life and Being and let it die.  Reflect on all the 'deaths' that have happened over the past year, also all the rebirths.   Embrace your growth and expansion.

♏ I thought it might be fun to look at why we pay attention to Void of Course Moon periods.  We can't write our New Moon Abundance Checks during a Void of Course Moon, but what can we do?  Turns out a lot!  

What is it? The Void of Course Moon starts after the Moon has made its last major aspect to the Sun or planets and is still within the sign, and the Moon is considered Void of Course until it enters the next sign.  The Void of Course (VoC) is similar to a short respite or a reprieve of emotions before the Moon journeys into the next astrological sign.  The Moon rules over our feelings, emotions, nurturing feminine side as well as our childhood memories and family matters.  When the Moon begins into a Void of Course period we can encounter a short period of emotional confusion, mood fatigue, or even simply feel emotionally and physically rundown.

What's it good for?  The VoC period is good for postponing important decisions, and simply enjoy being "one" with the Void Moon.  Spiritual practices take on a deeper dimension during the VoC Moon.  The VoC period is great for meditation, organizing and cleaning out things, being lazy and relaxing, getting extra sleep, planning ahead, tune into your inner voice - it's louder during VoC periods.  So relax and enjoy the VoC, just don't write your Abundance Check!

►This SCORPIO New Moon goes Void of Course 10 minutes after the time of the New Moon!  Then we must wait 6½ hours and we will have 53½ hours to write checks! 

Pay attention to the optimal times to write your check listed below and never write when the Moon is Void of Course. 
 
♏ ►The most potent time to write an Abundance Check is within the first 8 hours AFTER the exact time of the New Moon as long as the Moon is NOT Void of Course. (It is extended for this New Moon since 6½ hours of the 8 hours are when the Moon is Void of Course.   Writing within the first 48 hours still works well.   You can still write your check within 72 hours (3 days) of the New Moon.  It gets significantly weaker beyond 48 hours.. Focus, FEEL and intend powerfully and once you've written down your intentions and written out your check, THEN LET THEM GO.  Don't keep focusing on them, don't dwell on or try to figure out how they will come to be.

* Within 24-48 hours of the New Moon (see best times above), take a check out. (within 72 hours still works)
 ✔  Where it says "Pay to", write your name.   
 ✔  In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount,  write words "Paid in full."
 ✔  On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a dollar amount, write words "Paid in full." [I find it works better if you do not add a line after the "Paid in Full".]
 ✔  Sign the check with: "The Law of Abundance"
  • Do not put a date on the check.
  • Do not write a specific dollar amount in the check.
  • It's ok to draw a check on a piece of paper if you don't have a printer.  It works the same!
