🌚 The second of two powerful New Moons in September bookends a powerful month of Equinox, Solar and Lunar Eclipses and 2 New Moons!

The Moon in Libra is NEW on September 30th 2016 at 8:11pm US EDT | 5:11pm US PDT | 12:11am UTC (October 1st) 

This second New Moon in September is considered to be a Black Moon.  Lunar events like Black Moons are quite rare. They are very similar to Blue Moons, which is when two Full Moons occur within one month, but they are polar opposites in terms of moon phases. Furthermore, both Black and Blue Moons occur about once every 32 months or so, meaning years will pass before the next one comes along.

It is important to note that only the Western Hemisphere will truly experience a Black Moon because the Moon is New for those in Europe and Eastward on October 1.  For those time zones closest to GMT, the Moon will be New very early into October 1st so they will still experience the energy of a Black Moon.   (And because everything is always working out perfectly ... those in the Eastern Hemisphere will experience a true Black Moon in October!) ❤

September has been a month of energy emphasizing releasing and letting go of that which no longer serves us.  This  New Moon’s energy is going to be giving us that an additional nudge in this direction so that we have the courage, confidence and willpower to release and let go of anything that has been causing us challenges or prolonged emotional pain.

This New Moon is the first lunation after September's Eclipses so it tends to be an optimistic, energized New Moon.

 ✔  Where it says "Pay to", write your name.   
 ✔  In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount,  write words "Paid in full."
 ✔  On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a dollar amount, write words "Paid in full." [I find it works better if you do not add a line after the "Paid in Full".]
 ✔  Sign the check: "The Law of Abundance"
  • Do not put a date on the check.
  • Do not write a specific dollar amount in the check.
  • It's perfectly ok to draw a check on a piece of paper if you don't have a printer.  It works the same!
